What prevents your city/town from being the best place in the country to live?
Submitted by Cherney.Probably our location because it gets REALLY hot and REALLY cold here. Granted we don't get snow but I think weather is one of the main reasons why people probably won't move here so readily. I'm okay with that though. I don't want my city to get too crowded. :p
What makes a good internet friend?
Submitted by david c.Someone who won't stab you in the back. *ahem* Yes I'm talking about YOU.
Anyway, this book is a continuation of her life as a mom in Hollywood. I like how down-to-earth and real she was when it comes to things with her kids like dealing with a poopy diaper, tantrums, meeting other celeb moms, etc. It's good to know that she struggles with the same things that normal moms do. Even though she has a nanny that helps out, she and her husband still do most of the baby duties. I highly recommend this if you like Tori or if you're a new (and not-so new) mother.
What is your favorite classic video arcade game?
Submitted by northerngeek. This is easy. It's Galaga of course! Who hasn't played this classic, fun game?
What was your very first job?
I was 15 1/2 years old and I worked through my school's ROP program. I worked at Harbor-UCLA as an X-ray filing clerk. It was actually pretty fun and my firsthand look at a hospital.
Did anyone watch the Jon and Kate premiere last night? I haven't watched that show live in a looong time. I just had to see how they are after all the gossip swirling around them. You can totally see in her eyes that she's sad and that maybe things are...irreparable. I really do hope that for the children's sakes that they pull through and work things out. It's hard enough divorcing with just a couple of kids let alone 8. I want to blame Jon since most of the cheating seems to be focused on him but there are always 2 sides of the story.
I think it's time for them to stop getting their lives filmed.
Should we just be handing over the car keys when kids turn 16? Why or why not?

Umm that would be a NO...unless they prove themselves worthy. If I think they're mature enough to be able to drive then I will enroll them in Driver's Ed and see how they do. If it's not really necessary for them to drive then I'd probably wait until they're 18.
I was one of the lucky ones who was able to find a copy at my local B&N. I was ecstatic to find Cindy's debut novel. To celebrate her novel's release, she is holding a contest She's giving away some cool prizes ranging from her prized original art or a $100 gift card to the bookstore of your choice, in addition to a signed novel. Pretty awesome if you ask me. So go ahead and join the fun!! Congrats again Cindy on a job well done.
I've read the Prologue and so far I'm pretty impressed. :)
Show us something that needs fixing.
We need to fix the way swine flu is being portrayed at the moment. Most if not all cases in the US are mild so there's no need to panic. There has been more deaths from the regular flu than the swine flu. I understand it's a new virus but at the moment, it's not pandemic. If you come down with the flu, follow the usual recommendations: Get some rest, drink plenty of fluids, STAY HOME and practice proper hygiene. If you're "well" enough to go to the hospital to get tested, then you'll probably turn out okay which means you don't need to worry. Those that are barely able to get up are the ones that need to be tested.
