A Thousand Splendid Suns
I started reading this about 2 weeks ago and it's a very compelling, thought-provoking book. I'm about halfway now and it's just so horrible at how women live on the other side of the world. I know that most Americans think of Afghans as "the enemy" but this book actually gives you a great insight of how the forgotten people live, mostly women. I didn't think that I would like it but so far it's a very engaging book.
